One of the beautiful things about our Marksman Series Products is its straight forward ease of use.
We ship these systems throughout North & South America on a daily basis and for those who are not close to one of our distribution partners, someone with no familiarity can be operational and marking parts in 15 minutes with instruction over the phone of by watching short video clips sent by e-mail. Within your first hour, you will know everything you need to know to operate these Marking Machines on a daily basis.
The interface is a simple 7 step process which you tab from step to step in a clockwise configuration on the stand-alone controllers or from left to right in the case of the optional software for PCs.

Select the type of Mark you’re looking make ie. Standard LINEAR, RADIAL (Arc), GRAPHIC (PLT), MATRIX (2D/QR Code)

2. X-AXIS
Select the starting point for the bottom left corner of your first character on your X-AXIS

Select the starting point for the bottom left corner of your first character on your Y-AXIS

Select the angle at which you want your words/image to print. Straight horizontal along the X-Axis is zero 0 degrees

Select the height of the characters you wish to print in this BLOCK in millimetres.

Select the pitch also known as the compression of the character. If the PITCH is set to the same value as the character height than the character will be a normally proportioned character with 3/4 its height being its width. So if a typical 3mm character is desired, the pitch or (PX ) value should also be set to 3mm. If you are bound by spec to six (6) characters at a stipulated height 3mm but you only have physical room for five (5) and you need to compress the width of characters you could set your height value (CH) at 3mm and your pitch (PX) value at 2.6mm. This will compress the width of the characters some allowing you to fit more characters into a given area.

The last step is actually where you type in the data you wish to print in this BLOCK. In the case of a Barcode, you would type in the content of what the code would ultimately contain and the system will generate the code to contain that data.

Following these 7 easy progressional steps, you can go to the F2 Screen and activate the marking process.

There is the process of saving a layout and recalling or “loading” a previously saved layout. There are some other features such as the F7 Feature allowing you to view your marking layout in relation to the physical limitations of your marking area and a few other features that can be helpful in certain situations, but overall it’s just about that easy.

We have helped hundreds of companies go from opening the box to fully operations from remote locations in as little as 15 minutes and as much as an hour depending on the configuration of the system they are using and their computer skills and familiarity with basic CNC type equipment.

Getting the job done right does not have to be complicated!
