Millennium Signatures Marking Systems Inc., has specialized in providing Turn-Key Galvo Driven Laser Marking Technology, Systems and Services since 1990.
With extensive knowledge of the various configurations including the two (2) most common being a CDRH Class I designated system designs or a CDRH Class IV designated system designs, the Part Marking Specialists on staff at Millennium Signatures Marking Systems are happy to consult with you or your Safety committee on the various options to consider when buying a Laser Product and how to remain fully compliant with Safe Operating Recommendations when working with Lasers.
Probably the best publication to use when creating a Laser Safety Policy within your company would be the ANSI Z136.1 “The Safe Use of Lasers” publication as issued by The American National Laser Institute. For the past few decades, this has been the bible of people who design, build, and use Laser Products in North America and beyond.
Please feel free to contact our Technical Staff if we can assist you with getting a copy of the publication or answer any questions that your company may have.

GALVO LASER MARKING TECHNOLOGY, by Millennium Signatures Marking Systems Inc.
Millennium Signatures is proud to supply, integrate and fully support the Scorpion Fibre Laser Marking Series.
These systems are available in 10-Watt, 20-Watt, 50-Watt and 100-Watt configurations as well as the 20-Watt and 70-Watt ZEP extended performance Z-mode Lasers offering 36 waveforms by special order. This 110-Volt, Air-Cooled, Generation of Laser Marking Series has been highly successful for Millennium Signatures Marking Systems since coming to market in 2008 / 2009. They install easily, the are extremely reliable and the performance and capabilities of these system are state-of-the-art. These systems can be supplied as a Class IV Laser or integrated into any of our various protective workstations such as the EMS-400, creating a CDRH Class I Marking System. COMPACT FUME and PARTICLE EXTRACTION SYSTEMS for use with your Laser Marking Systems
Millennium Signatures has a great selection of Powerful, Compact and perhaps most importantly QUIET operating Fume & Particle Extraction Systems which are perfectly suited for use with our Electro-Chemical Etching and Laser Marking Systems. Our systems have been carefully designed to provide controlled extraction of both fumes and debris or particulate that is a by-product of the Laser Marking process right close to the source. All of our systems have been designed to contain the extracted contaminants in a multi-stage filtration system which is good for the environment and intended to run continuously (100% Duty Cycle) so you need not worry about burning out motors or other damage due to long run times.
We have a few different models, but some of the features that are available on our systems include:
Integrated ON/OFF communication with Laser System Software.
High Capacity Filters allowing several years between changes in most cases.
Our systems effectively handle the extraction of Particulate also which is not often the case with most other extraction systems.
When most people think of the need for an extraction system it is usually for reasons of the health and safety for the systems operator, as it should be. However there is another very strong cost saving advantage to our extraction systems that is that they also aid heavily with the health and longevity of your equipment. It’s very common with Laser Marking / Engraving Systems that are used for long or continuous runs Marking products will certainly create some particulate by-product in many cases a metallic dust that will take its toll on optics, cooling passages, electronic circuits etc. A clean system is a smooth running, trouble free system for years and years to come. Our Fume and Particle Extraction Systems have proven their worth many times over throughout the past 28 years and we can arrange to add to your existing system(s) or include as part of a new upcoming system purchase.
It was 25 years ago today. I started out assisting in the effort to familiarize the manufacturing sector with the incredible capabilities of Galvo Driven Nd:YAG Lamp Pumped Laser Technology for Industrial Part Marking Applications. I custom integrated 50, 75, 100 and even 150-Watt Lasers into various different manufacturing environments one by one under the Canadian Laser Technologies label. 25 Years later the company has grown to become Millennium Signatures Marking Systems Inc., a full service company specializing in Product Identification & Traceability Systems and Services. Today we offer a diverse range of products which still include the latest in Fibre Laser Marking Technologysurrounded by several other technologies including:
Computerized Dot Peen Marking
plus a range of Products & Services such as specialty Marking Inks, custom made Signs, Nameplates and Labels. we have unique services such as our Laser Sintering process and our Custom Parts Marking Servicesfacility. Its hard to believe its been 25 years, but its a great feeling to look back at the growth of the various technologies and reflect upon the thousands of applications we have had a hand in developing. Over the past 25 years we have supplied solutions to assist in the manufacturing process of Aircraft Components, Parts for Nuclear Power Production, Medical & Surgical Instruments and hundreds upon hundreds of unique and interesting custom projects up to and including signage for high-end Fashion Designers and even Hollywood Movie props.
To all of our customers, old and new we thank-you for your support and the opportunity to work on new products and processes with you.
