Millennium Signatures Marking Systems Inc. offers the Minilase E as a high quality but cost-effective, entry-level Bench Top Galvo Driven Fibre Laser Marking System complete with the full array of capabilities of the Minilase SE Software. The Minilase E has a small footprint, making it ideal for smaller components, instruments, jewelry, etc. It’s equipped with a 10-Watt Laser that can provide razor-sharp imaging and even excellent annealed marking capability to most metals and is also highly effective on a range of other materials such as plastics, ceramics etc.
Quality is never sacrificed, the Minilase E is simply not equipped with as many extras. It uses a robust Lab Jack for manual Z-Axis Focal Height Adjustment. It is equipped with a built-in Focal Height Indicator. Given that it is a 10-Watt Laser, it will not be quite as fast or perform marking quite as deep as some of the other more expensive models, but it’s a very well designed Class I Marking System that offers the same level of Image Quality, Marking Speeds and Versatility that only Galvo Driven Laser Technology can offer.
The Minilase Pro SE Software still supports all the same Graphic Editing, Variable Data Control and Barcoding Capabilities as any of our other systems, it’s just been designed for smaller parts and to be at our most economical price point. Do you have a Class I Galvo Driven Laser Marking System and an operator who stands idle in front of the machine for anywhere from 30 seconds per part to potentially a few minutes for every batch of parts loaded into the Laser Marker? If you have high volumes of product to Laser Mark, this time spent idle can greatly increase the overall time needed to process the parts you need.
Consider the freshly redesigned Galvo Driven (Class I) Rotary Dial Index Laser Marking System for 2018 by TYKMA Electrox supplied by Millennium Signatures Marking Systems Inc.
This system is designed for additional efficiency over conventional Box Marking Enclosures with Manual or Automatic Door Systems.
These systems have a robust rotary table that is set-up to rotate 180 Degrees upon command at the end of each “marking cycle”. This allows an operator to be unloading parts that have just been marked and reload the fixture with fresh new parts at the very same time as the parts previously fixtured on the other half of the table are actively being marked. Once the cycle is complete and fresh (unmarked) product has been loaded there is a touch activation process that requires both hands to rotate the new parts in for processing at the same time as finished parts are presented back to the operator for unloading.
It’s a safe process, the Laser System is designed to provide Class I protection with a KG-3 Protective Viewing Window and integrates light curtains that will instantly stop the system in its tracks should the light curtain be interrupted or obstructed why the table is rotating.
It’s a much faster, more efficient process for applications that have high volumes of the same parts to be marked.

Millennium Signatures is pleased to announce that we are now equipped with even more state-of-the-art laser equipment allowing us to demonstrate the capabilities of our Galvo Driven Laser Marking Systems to those visiting our facility. Our Canadian Facility located in Burlington, Ontario is now equipped with a 20-Watt Minilase Manual Bench Top System (Class I Configuration), a 20-Watt Scorpion Rapide II ZEP Multi-waveform Z-Mode Laser (Class IV Configuration) and most recently the 50-Watt Scorpion Laser (Class IV Configuration). We have acquired this laser complete with a 160mm, 254mm and 350mm multi-element Flat Field Lens Assemblies to be able to demonstrate a wider range of capabilities and enhance the range of our Application Testing Services. The 50-Watt Laser will be capable of delivering the same ultra high quality marking we are known for with shorter cycle times and deeper marking results if required. Millennium Signatures is proud to supply, integrate and fully support the Scorpion Fibre Laser Marking Series.
These systems are available in 10-Watt, 20-Watt, 50-Watt and 100-Watt configurations as well as the 20-Watt and 70-Watt ZEP extended performance Z-mode Lasers offering 36 waveforms by special order. This 110-Volt, Air-Cooled, Generation of Laser Marking Series has been highly successful for Millennium Signatures Marking Systems since coming to market in 2008 / 2009. They install easily, the are extremely reliable and the performance and capabilities of these system are state-of-the-art. These systems can be supplied as a Class IV Laser or integrated into any of our various protective workstations such as the EMS-400, creating a CDRH Class I Marking System. These lasers can be easily outfitted with F-Theta Flat Field Marking Lens that include 100mm, 163mm, 254mm, 350mm and 410mm Effective Focal Length (EFT) Lens. This essentially mean that we can provide systems with marking areas ranging from approximately 2.5″ square to nearly 16″ square at the part marking surface.
These systems have proven highly effective at marking a huge range of sub-straights including almost all metals, plastics, ceramics, and a wide range of unique coatings and synthetic materials. COMPACT FUME and PARTICLE EXTRACTION SYSTEMS for use with your Laser Marking Systems
Millennium Signatures has a great selection of Powerful, Compact and perhaps most importantly QUIET operating Fume & Particle Extraction Systems which are perfectly suited for use with our Electro-Chemical Etching and Laser Marking Systems. Our systems have been carefully designed to provide controlled extraction of both fumes and debris or particulate that is a by-product of the Laser Marking process right close to the source. All of our systems have been designed to contain the extracted contaminants in a multi-stage filtration system which is good for the environment and intended to run continuously (100% Duty Cycle) so you need not worry about burning out motors or other damage due to long run times.
We have a few different models, but some of the features that are available on our systems include:

Our systems effectively handle the extraction of Particulate also which is not often the case with most other extraction systems.
