Do you have a Class I Galvo Driven Laser Marking System and an operator who stands idle in front of the machine for anywhere from 30 seconds per part to potentially a few minutes for every batch of parts loaded into the Laser Marker? If you have high volumes of product to Laser Mark, this time spent idle can greatly increase the overall time needed to process the parts you need.
Consider the freshly redesigned Galvo Driven (Class I) Rotary Dial Index Laser Marking System for 2018 by TYKMA Electrox supplied by Millennium Signatures Marking Systems Inc.
This system is designed for additional efficiency over conventional Box Marking Enclosures with Manual or Automatic Door Systems.
These systems have a robust rotary table that is set-up to rotate 180 Degrees upon command at the end of each “marking cycle”. This allows an operator to be unloading parts that have just been marked and reload the fixture with fresh new parts at the very same time as the parts previously fixtured on the other half of the table are actively being marked. Once the cycle is complete and fresh (unmarked) product has been loaded there is a touch activation process that requires both hands to rotate the new parts in for processing at the same time as finished parts are presented back to the operator for unloading.
It’s a safe process, the Laser System is designed to provide Class I protection with a KG-3 Protective Viewing Window and integrates light curtains that will instantly stop the system in its tracks should the light curtain be interrupted or obstructed why the table is rotating.
It’s a much faster, more efficient process for applications that have high volumes of the same parts to be marked.

COMPACT FUME and PARTICLE EXTRACTION SYSTEMS for use with your Laser Marking Systems
Millennium Signatures has a great selection of Powerful, Compact and perhaps most importantly QUIET operating Fume & Particle Extraction Systems which are perfectly suited for use with our Electro-Chemical Etching and Laser Marking Systems. Our systems have been carefully designed to provide controlled extraction of both fumes and debris or particulate that is a by-product of the Laser Marking process right close to the source. All of our systems have been designed to contain the extracted contaminants in a multi-stage filtration system which is good for the environment and intended to run continuously (100% Duty Cycle) so you need not worry about burning out motors or other damage due to long run times.
We have a few different models, but some of the features that are available on our systems include:
Integrated ON/OFF communication with Laser System Software.
High Capacity Filters allowing several years between changes in most cases.
Our systems effectively handle the extraction of Particulate also which is not often the case with most other extraction systems.
When most people think of the need for an extraction system it is usually for reasons of the health and safety for the systems operator, as it should be. However there is another very strong cost saving advantage to our extraction systems that is that they also aid heavily with the health and longevity of your equipment. It’s very common with Laser Marking / Engraving Systems that are used for long or continuous runs Marking products will certainly create some particulate by-product in many cases a metallic dust that will take its toll on optics, cooling passages, electronic circuits etc. A clean system is a smooth running, trouble free system for years and years to come. Our Fume and Particle Extraction Systems have proven their worth many times over throughout the past 28 years and we can arrange to add to your existing system(s) or include as part of a new upcoming system purchase.
Millennium Signatures Marking Systems Inc., is the exclusive Canadian Distribution and Technical Field Support Team for TYKMA Electrox in Canada. Millennium Signatures supplies both the Scorpion Series Lasers as well as the Vereo Series Integration Lasers. This diverse range of Galvo Driven Laser Marking Technology can be used within a number of our standard Class I Marking Enclosures as a completely contained system or used as part of a custom integration into an Assembly Line or as part of an Automated Production Cell. These Lasers are offered in a range of power outputs including: 10-Watt, 20-Watt, 50-Watt, 70-Watt and 100-Watt in the Yttrium Fibre configuration. We also offer a 30-Watt Galvo Driven CO2 Laser called the Razor.
We offer presently offer two (2) different Software Platforms known as ” Scriba” and “Minilase Pro SE” which are both packed with capability, but different and appeal to different users. The Minilase Pro SE software is the platform used with the Vereo and Minilase system designs and the Scriba software is the platform used to drive Scorpion Series systems.
If you are looking for a complete CDRH Class I solution, we have a very capable range of systems available from our smaller Minilase Bench Top Systems to our Minilase XL and Zetalase models. For larger, heavier part processing we have the EMS Series Systems which are multi-axis system designs which easily accommodate Lasers of all sizes.
In addition to being able to accommodate larger parts, the EMS-400 and the Zetalase XL systems offer much larger marking fields including 200mm x 200mm without and programmables stages or other manipulation of the part.
For more information on these systems as well as a lot of customized hardware and software solutions we can offer, contact our Technical Sales Team at 905-639-0909 or by e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org
